Cookies and device storage
Google Analytics is optional. Before you accept, we do not load Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics, send analytics requests or set their cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser as described below. You can read every page without accepting analytics.
Our contact page embeds a Google Forms document. Google may set its own cookies inside that embedded frame when the contact page loads. Those cookies are set by Google under its own notice, not by this website, and we do not use them for analytics or advertising.
What is stored
- 5ip.analytics-consent
- Necessary preference storage operated by 5IP Technology on this website. Saved in first-party local storage when you choose Accept or Reject, solely to honour your choice; it is not used for analytics. Stores the choice, configuration version, Google Tag Manager container ID and expiry. Expires after 6 months (180 days); then we ask again. The expired record may remain physically in browser storage until replaced or cleared, but is no longer treated as consent.
- _ga
- Optional first-party cookie set by Google Analytics for 5IP Technology on this website, used to distinguish browsers after consent. Lifetime: up to 2 years, renewed on each visit. Deleted when you withdraw consent, or on your next visit after your choice has expired.
- _ga_<ID>
- Optional first-party cookie set by Google Analytics for 5IP Technology on this website, keeping the session state after consent; <ID> is our Google Analytics measurement ID without its G- prefix. Lifetime and deletion as for _ga.
Browser settings may shorten storage lifetimes. Cookie duration is separate from the analytics data-retention period described in our privacy policy. Advertising cookies are not enabled.
Hosting and security services
Content-delivery or security settings can add cookies independently of the website’s code. The assessment below describes the deployed configuration.
Current infrastructure cookie assessment: None. Amazon CloudFront and Amazon Route 53 set no cookies for this website (checked on 9 October 2026).
Technical request logs are separate from cookies. They are described in our privacy policy.
Embedded and linked services
The demo request form on our contact page is embedded from Google Forms. It loads from Google when that page opens and may set Google’s own cookies in the embedded frame. If you would rather not load it, write to us at the email address on that page instead.
The DDHQ product website and application page are linked rather than embedded. They may set their own cookies once visited. Review the destination’s notices and choices. Those preferences are managed on the destination site.
Your choices
Use Cookie preferences in the footer to review or change your choice. Rejecting after an earlier acceptance disables measurement, removes the Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>) and reloads the page to unload Google Tag Manager. Your new choice applies to future visits and other open tabs. Clearing browser storage removes the saved choice; analytics will require consent again. If your browser blocks storage, the choice lasts only for the current page.
