This notice covers 5iptechnology.com and enquiries sent to our contact email or through the demo request form embedded in our contact page. DDHQ product use and recruitment applications are covered by the notices on the DDHQ website. Swiss data protection law applies; the GDPR also applies where its territorial scope is met.
When you visit this website
Your browser sends technical information needed to deliver pages, including your IP address, requested URL, time of request and browser information. Hosting and content-delivery providers may process this information to serve the site, diagnose errors and protect it from abuse.
Optional Google Analytics is described below. We remember your analytics choice in local browser storage. The website does not create visitor accounts, embed third-party content other than the demo request form on our contact page or make automated decisions about visitors. Fonts and visual assets are served with the site.
Optional Google Analytics
When enabled, and only with your permission, we use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits, see which pages, links and campaigns bring people to the website, and count demo requests and clicks on Request access at DDHQ. We load Google Tag Manager only after you accept analytics cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and you can withdraw your choice through Cookie preferences in the footer of any page.
Measurement includes the page title and canonical page address, the campaign tags of the link you followed (only utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term and utm_id), the referring website reduced to its domain, usage/session information such as scrolling and clicks on links to other websites, approximate location, device and browser information, and cookie identifiers. When you send our demo request form or click Request access at DDHQ, we record that this happened, never what you wrote. Other query parameters and URL fragments are removed before anything is sent. Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details when contacted. Google states that it uses IP addresses from EU, Swiss and UK visitors to derive approximate location and then discards those addresses before logging. Analytics processing is separate from our EU S3 hosting and is not restricted to the S3 region. We do not configure advertising, advertising personalisation or Google Signals.
This optional processing relies on your consent, including Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where applicable. Withdrawal stops future measurement; it does not recall data already sent. To request deletion or exercise other rights, contact us using the details above.

Demo requests and enquiries
You can email info@5iptechnology.com to ask a question or request a demonstration. We process your email address, name if provided, message and any information you choose to include. Providing information is voluntary; without a way to contact you, we may be unable to respond.
Our demo request form is provided by Google Forms and is embedded in our contact page. Opening that page loads the form from Google, so Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details at that point, whether or not you submit anything. We receive the information you submit, such as your name, business contact details and enquiry. Required fields are identified on the form. Google’s own service processing is described in its privacy policy.
We use enquiries to respond, understand your requirements and arrange a demonstration. Access is limited to people handling the enquiry and the providers supporting that process, including email delivery and storage providers and the form provider. Please do not send sensitive personal information, passwords or confidential deal documents. We do not use enquiries to subscribe you to marketing.
Purposes and legal grounds
Where the GDPR applies, technical delivery and security rely on legitimate interests in operating a reliable website (Article 6(1)(f)). Enquiries rely on pre-contractual steps when applicable (Article 6(1)(b)), otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to business communications. Legally required records rely on Article 6(1)(c). If processing depends on consent, it can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Service providers and international transfers
Static hosting uses Amazon S3 in Europe (Stockholm), Sweden — eu-north-1. The S3 region is the location selected for storage of website files. It does not restrict Google Analytics, email delivery, CDN edge processing or provider support to that region. The recipients, processing countries and safeguards below must reflect those separate services.
- Hosting entity
- Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg (Amazon S3)
- S3 region
- Europe (Stockholm), Sweden — eu-north-1
- CDN entities
- Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg (Amazon CloudFront and Amazon Route 53)
- Hosting/CDN countries
- Sweden (website files, AWS region eu-north-1); Amazon CloudFront edge locations in Europe, North America and Israel, selected automatically by the visitor's location
- Transfer safeguards
- AWS Data Processing Addendum incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the Swiss amendments; adequacy decisions where applicable (e.g. Canada, Israel). Details available on request.
- Form provider entity
- Google Cloud EMEA Limited, Ireland (Google Workspace, Google Forms)
- Form processing countries
- Countries where Google and its subprocessors operate data centres, including the European Union and the United States
- Form transfer safeguards
- Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the Swiss amendments; Google LLC certification under the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks. Details available on request.
Cross-border disclosures require an applicable adequacy basis or other valid safeguards. The country and safeguard details above describe the contracted services. You can ask us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
How long information is kept
- Technical logs
- 5IP does not store website access logs (CloudFront standard and real-time logging and S3 server access logging are disabled). AWS processes request data transiently to deliver the website and protect its services.
- Enquiries and correspondence
- Demo requests and related correspondence are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted from Google Forms, linked sheets and mailboxes, unless a customer relationship follows or the law requires longer retention.
Retention covers copies in mailboxes and backups, as well as form responses and connected spreadsheets. Records subject to a legal preservation requirement or an active dispute may need to be retained longer, with access limited to the relevant purpose.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law and its conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion or data portability. Under the GDPR you may also request restriction and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above. We may need proportionate identity verification.
You may raise concerns with Switzerland’s Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Where the GDPR applies, you may lodge a complaint with a competent EU/EEA supervisory authority.
EU/EEA representative assessment: 5IP Technology is appointing a representative in the EU under Article 27 GDPR. Their name and contact details will be published here once the appointment is complete; until then, please contact us using the details above.
External services and updates
External links lead to separate websites. Their operators may collect data and use cookies under their own notices. DDHQ applications are submitted on DDHQ; this static website does not receive CV uploads.
We update this notice when our processing changes. The review date appears above. See the cookie policy for device-storage details.
